For applicants who can repay part of the cost, a loan/grant combination may be arranged, too.
Amount of loans and grants are restricted to $30,000 and $8,500, respectively. Both can be combined for a maximum of $38,500 in assistance. For loans of $7,500 or more, a real estate mortgage and a full title service is required. In case the property gets sold in less than three years, the grants may also be forfeited.
